HAWLEY, EDNA
On July 31, 2004 Edna Hawley passed away at the age of 81 years.
Edna is survived by her four daughters; Lydia (Mike) Woods, Donna (Bill)
Copeland, Carol (Doug) Durand, Patricia (Allan) Taggart and by her two sons;
Jim Hawley, Terry (Kathy) Hawley. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren
,4 great grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edna was predeceased by both parents and her brothers and sisters.
A funeral service has taken place on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 1:00 p.m.
at the First Baptist Church, Olds, Alberta with Pastor Norman Tauber
officiating. Interment took place at the Olds Cemetery. MOUNTAIN VIEW

CHANT - Harry Robert Chant passed away Saturday, July 31, 2004 surrounded by
his loving family. He was born May 21, 1916 at this parents homestead near
Mitchellton, Sask. Harry married Florence Frances McKechnie on Nov. 9, 1938.
They farmed in the Mitchellton area until he joined the Royal Canadian Air
Force in 1942 at which time he worked as an aeroengine mechanic. During his
service Harry was stationed at Moose Jaw, Sask., Brandon, Man., St. Thomas,
Ont. and Calgary.
Harry and Florence bought the east half of 32-32-2-5 in 1944 which they
farmed for 60 years and where they resided until May, 2004.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Florence and their
children: Doug (Barb), Donna McFadyen (Bob) and Alan (Bev); Grandchildren:
Rob (Jennifer). Tammy Hall (Steve), Corinna Murray (Don), Christina (fiance
Norm Vaillancourt), Allison and James McFadyen, Brad, Curtis and Darcy
Chant: 5 great grandchildren as well as sister Pearl Mead (Glyn) and
brothers Richard (Eileen) and Delbert (Flora) Chant and numerous nieces and
nephews.
A celebration of Harry’s life will take place Thursday, August 5 at 2:00
p.m. in the Olds United Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to
the charity of the donor’s choice.

LAWSON - Dorotha June 1923 - 2004
lawson - Dorotha June, beloved wife of Gene Lawson passed away at the Peter
Lougheed Centre on Saturday, August 21, 2004.
She will be dearly missed by her husband and sons Ted (Reina) Petersen, Rick
(Lynn) Petersen, Dave Petersen, Doug (Marianne) Lawson, daughters Bonnie
(Gary) Wagstaff, Syndi (Clark) Marcolin, step-son Ron (Marsha) Lawson,
step-daughter Janice (Norm) Schalin. Grandchildren Barb, Cory, Tara, Lane,
Lorelei, Alan, Derek, Kristen, Cheryl, Jeff, Curtis, Dylan, Isabella, Clint,
Lisa, Jennifer and Kyle. Six Great-Grandchildren, Shelby, Ricky, Jacob,
Aiden, Cassandra and Taylor.
Dorotha was predeceased by her sister Emogene.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
At Dorotha's request there will be no service.
Forever in our hearts "Gone With The Wind."
