| GENTRY- M.L. (Sam) Gentry 1926 - 2002. Born in Fountain Green, Maryland,
Mr. Gentry served in the United States Navy during World War II, and was the
co-founder and President of the Sixty One Ranch, Cremona. He worked
throughout the United States and Canada before marrying Elizabeth Allison in
1957, and settling west of Cremona to raise cattle. Known for his obstreperous sense of humour and resonant voice, he enjoyed building the ranch, and raising two daughters, Margaret and Allison. Less to his liking was the paving of Highway 22 which brought the city closer. Per his instructions, no funeral or memorial service will be held; no flowers please. Friends and family may donate to the Royal Canadian Legion Cremona Branch #172 (Box 204, Cremona T0M 0R0) where he was a long time member. |
