ZMEAN - Fern Lucienne Zmean of Olds, Alberta passed away on October 10, 2005
at the Extended Care Facility where she had resided for the past two years.
She was 89 years old.
Fern will be sadly missed by her loving family: devoted husband Julian; two
daughters Joyce (Terry) of Minneapolis, MN, Shirlee (Jack) of Edmonton, AB,
one son Perre (Brenda) of Kelowna, BC; six grandchildren, Jack Jr, Chuck,
Jodi of Edmonton, Shelley and Stacey of Kelowna, and Rick of Wabamun, AB;
ten great grandchildren; one brother Honore (Agnes) of Calgary, AB; her
close and faithful friend Alice of Olds, AB; as well as numerous nieces,
nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Alexina and Eusebe
Belanger as well as five brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11:00 am at
Mountain View Funeral Home, 5226 - 46 Street, Olds.

SEAL - Edith Seal passed away peacefully in her sleep, after a valiant
battle with brain cancer ,on Friday, October 15, at the age of 74 years. Her
loving husband of 53 years, Oliver Seal, was at her side. Beloved mother of
Judy and Gwen Seal, dear grandmother to Amanda and Katie Wurts, Edith was
raised by Milton and Ethel Campbell in the Hainstock area, near Olds. She
is survived by her sisters, Loretta, Anne, Clara and Alberta. Edith was
predeceased by her brother, Earl.
Her grace, love for life and artistic presence were very much felt in life
and will be much missed. Her memory will be forever in our hearts and
minds. The family wishes to express its deeply felt thanks and gratitude to
the fine ladies of the Fort Macleod Art Club, the medical professionals and
the devoted Homecare staff.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Trinity United Church, Fort Macleod
on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Aldeen McKay
officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fort Macleod
Society for Kids First ( breakfast program ) Box 520, Community Health
Centre, Fort Macleod, T0L 0Z0.
