Marilyn (Bolt) Mesiatowsky : Marilyn, beloved wife of Gerd Mesiatowsky of
Irricana, Alberta passed away suddenly at her home Wednesday, August 28,
2002 at the age of 56 years.
Left to mourn her loss is her son Gary and daughter-in-law (Debbie) of
Calgary. Her daughter Annette and Trevor Poffenroth of Kathryn. Her mother
Edith Bolt of Olds, Alberta and her grandmother Daisy Richey of Olds. Four
brothers Keith and (Trudy) of Calgary, Ted (Incka) of Three Hills. Brian
(Elaine) of Calgary, Rick and Sandra of Three Hills. Two sisters and
brothers in law  Deborah and (Jens) Hansen of Calgary. Brother in law Bob
Empey and Ethel of Logan Lake, B.C.
Marilyn was predeceased by her father Wilbur Bolt and sister Betty Jean
Empey.
Burial at Olds Cemetery, Olds. Alberta.

Bulloch - On September 5, 2002 Garry Bulloch of rural Bowden went peacefully
to his heavenly home following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Garry was born January 4, 1940 at the family farm near Reston, MB. He loved
his work as a crane operator and spent many years working in construction
and the oil patch. He also owned a mobile crane and worked as an owner
operator for 10 years.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 955 for 38 years.
His other passion was the farm where he raised a small herd of cattle. He
would often be found out working with the cows doing various chores after a
long day working as a crane operator. The last two winters, Garry and
Marlene enjoyed travelling around the southern States and Mexico as
snowbirds.
He also enjoyed hunting and in his young years camping, boating and
waterskiing were a highlight for the whole family.
Besides his loving wife, Marlene, Garry is survived by his daughter Jill of
Bowden, his son and daughter-in-law Daryl and Cheryl, his three best buds,
grandsons Jesse, Levi and Jacob all of Airdrie.
He is also survived by his brother Rodney (Gloria) Bulloch of Sidney, B.C.,
his sister Glenda MacLeod of Edmonton, his mother-in-law Blanche Staples of
Ponoka, two sister-in-laws Ferne (Barry) Leslie of Red Deer, Lucille (Bob)
Elvins of Toronto, one brother-in-law Bryan (Jean) Staples of Winnipeg as
well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many wonderful friends.
He was predeceased by his father Stanley in 1995, his mother Grace in 1965,
and his baby sister Erna in 1942.
Funeral services were held at Streams Christian Church (formerly Woodlea)
5350 - 46th Ave., Red Deer on Monday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. E-mail

McKinnon - God has you in his keeping - We have you in our hearts.
On Saturday, September 14, 2002 Lilah McKinnon, resident of Olds Hospital
and Care Centre, passed away at the age of 82 years.
Lilah will be lovingly missed by sister Ruth (Blanton) McBride of Ft. Myers,
Florida; brother George (Muriel) Harriman of Edmonton; numerous cousins, 5
nieces, 4 nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews, 5 great-great nieces and
nephews and countless friends.
Lilah was predeceased by her parents Archie and Mae; husband Mac and
brothers Richard (Ella) and Frank (Kay).
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the Olds Long Term Care Staff,
family and friends for your compassion, visits, phone calls, cards and
prayers.
Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, September 20, 2002 at 2:30
p.m. in the Olds United Church with Reverend Sue Hertell officiating.
Lilahıs final resting place will be beside her husband in Surrey, B.C.

THEIM - Elvira Theim passed away September 12, 2002 in Penticton, B.C.,
after a short illness at the age of 77 years.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Helmet and sons Herb (Rona) of Yellowknife,
Paul of Penticton and daughter Iris (Marvin) Wagner of Yellowknife, and 11
grandchildren.
Elvira was predeceased by her youngest son, Mark.
Helmet and Elvira owned the I.G.A. store in Olds for many years before
moving to Fort Nelson, B.C.
After their retirement they moved to Penticton where they resided ever
since.
